Had I not ventured into writing and marketing, I likely would have pursued a career in academia.
From my early days in K-12 through my time at Tufts, Oxford, Columbia, and the whimsical school of life, my passion for learning—especially in higher ed—has been constant.
After college, I launched a used academic book business (Lit for Less), using the profits to fund my graduate studies. While earning my MFA, I worked at Columbia’s Center for Career Education, where I learned to collaborate with external vendors, build business relationships with other universities, and innovate within the confines of academic administration.
Later, I founded an early EdTech nonprofit, a 501(c)(3) org that created an online digital library of 20k liberal arts lectures. Dubbed “Hulu for the Humanities” by VentureBeat, this unpaid project was a true labor of love, driven by 100 volunteers from across academia.
All of this leads me to…you.
These days, while I still contribute the occasional academic article, my passion for learning is channeled through Prose—where Education is more than simply a client vertical. Since 2012, we’ve been helping higher ed institutions and education brands grow through cutting-edge digital marketing, attracting and educating students along the way.
At Prose, our love for education is reflected in all we do. Intellectual curiosity remains at the core of our culture (and the top of our hiring criteria); and when we’re not working on client projects, you’ll often find us in lively discussions about books and ideas. We find great meaning in partnering with education clients, transforming proven strategies into measurable results that drive lasting growth.
Together, let’s write your own story of success.
To learning and marketing —
